The 909D2 has a 460cc head and offers a higher launch angle and more workability, while the 909D3 boasts a 440 cc head, will have a flatter, more boring trajectory and hits straighter off the tee. Both models are available only to pros in 8.5, 9.5 and 10.5 degrees of loft.
The Titleist 909D2 driver features a 460cc titanium construction with a 6-4 titanium body and 6-4 titanium face insert. It has a tour-proven, modern profile that creates a low and deep center of gravity for reduced spin and higher MOI for longer, straighter drives. It also features a tuned sole that has optimized pockets and an internal rib that reduces vibration to provide both a solid feel and better sound. Unlike previous models, it has an integrated titanium blind bore hosel that saves weight and provides a solid feel.
This driver has been hit in an appropriate fashion. The wear is lighter than typical for a used golf club of its age/model with no change to its original new luster. Light marks on the sole can be visible but this used golf club has been well taken care of.
